MTA Countdown Clock
MTA Countdown Clock

I'm building a pixel-for-pixel replica of the NYC subway countdown clocks. These tell when the next train will be arriving; my plan is to hook it into the MTA's real-time data feed so that we can display authentic times for our office and hackerspace. Sources are bundled with LEDscape for now.

The font is recreated from lots of photographs of the displays. I used bitfontmaker2 to interactive create it, and parsed the font json into a bitmap font. I'm still missing a few characters -- if you see a J, K, M, X, Y, Z, j or q, please send me a snapshot!
The best part is we can make the sign say what ever we want.
