Polargraph portraits

For the 2016 Interactive Show at NYCR, I collaborated with Kyle McDonald to turn my Polargraph plotter into a portrait sketching robot.

The code is based on, plus The Open Frameworks / OpenCV portion attempts to find interesting lines, then generates the line segments for the polargraph code, which generates G-code and sends it to the steppers.

Some highlights from the party were:

PT and Limor from Adafruit.

Becky Stern and her hat.

Giant Eye with a big thumbs-up.

You can see all the photos from the show. Thanks to everyone for posing with their portraits!
