PROMdate

PROMdate is a reader built as a "backpack" for the Teensy++ using a ZIF-socket for up to 40 pin DIP chips. The device can reconfigure all forty pins to match the pinout of the most common +5V ROM/PROM/EPROM/EEPROM/etc chips (full list in chips.c) as well as Atmel AVR microcontrollers over ISP. The data can be downloaded via xmodem and plotted with hex2png. github.com/Source code for the teensy so you can build your own.
