This was the first year that we didn't go to Burning Man, so instead we held an alternate festival in a friend's backyard. It was a great excuse to pull out the goggles, face masks, head lamps and kilts for an evening with friends (and to watch Burn Night on the big screen in comfort). Just add sparklers and a blowtorch for a small scale burn!

I based the model on a photos I took at the Smithsonian Renwick Gallery's Burning Man: No Spectators exhibit. Sizes and proportions were estimated and resulted in a roughly 40cm tall figure.
Production
The design is available as thing:3078950 and is suitable for cutting from 3-3.5mm bassword or cardboard. It fits on a 15x60 sheet easily and takes about 15 minutes to cut. There are several changes that would make it easier to assemble; I ended up having to glue parts together and the head wasn't quite right, but it burned well.
